Original title: The Last Siege: Never Surrender
Running time: 95 minutes
Language: English
ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives) agent Eddie Lyman takes part in raid on the dangerous paramilitary organization that defends the "basic rights" as they seem - the right to have firearm is at the top of their list. The raid is success, but the agents did not managed to arrest the leader of organization. Eddie’s fiancée Valerie is assistant of Senator Douglas Wilson, who determined to limit access to the firearm across the USA. Even though he is Vietnam War veteran his determination is strong, because few years back his wife and daughter were shot dead be the assailant. Valerie prepares for the journey on the train, during which senator will be interviewed by journalists. Valeria asks Eddie to join her on the train, seeing it as good chance to spend some time together. After the train leaves the station the militia man, lead by David Anderson, take control over the locomotive and soon after the senator and the passengers are takes as hostages. They want to show the world that their right to carry a firearm is the real American way of live and no senator is gonna change this. But the hijack is only first step for them - they have put a box on the train that contains a nuclear bomb. For the hostages Anderson demands his brother be released from prison, but he has further plans...
American action movie that takes place aboard the train, but unfortunately it was cheap production, which means that most of the scenes were shot in studio that just pretends to be aboard a train (just guess why all the windows have blinds in them). The seldom outside scenes were shot on some secluded siding, which is no big attraction either. Overall poor movie that is linked to train theme, but only in spirit.
